Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS), founded in 1973, is one of the largest healthcare conglomerates in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In tier 2-3 cities, KIMS provides multidisciplinary healthcare services with a focus on primary, secondary, and tertiary care. Oncology, cardiac sciences, neurosciences, gastric sciences, orthopaedics, renal sciences, organ transplantation, and mother and child care are among the services provided by the firm.
As of March 31, 2021, it operates through 9 multi-speciality hospitals under the “KIMS Hospitals” brand, with an aggregate bed capacity of 3,064 beds, including nearly 2,500 operating beds.
Objective of the Issue:
The company plans to use the funds from the IPO for the following purposes:
- To repay/prepay borrowings taken out by the company and its subsidiaries, namely KHKPL, SIMSPL, and KHEPL.
- To fulfil general corporate objectives.
